Chris attended the University of California at San Francisco, where she graduated with a Master's degree in Medical and Biological Illustration, after completing her internship at the University Of Cincinnati Department of Medical Illustration. Prior, she received her BFA from California College of the Arts with High Distinction in Drawing, and minored in biological illustration.
She has since operated her own successful biomedical visualization business, with a special emphasis on head and neck topics, including neurosurgery and neuroanatomy, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, and facial plastic surgery for academic applications, advertising, medical legal, multimedia and the medical device industry.
Chris also does rock art recording for the East Bay Parks, National Parks Service and others. Additional archaeological subjects include paleopathology and artifact illustrations for various cultural resource management firms.
Based in Northern California, Chris is a Fellow of the Association of Medical Illustrators. She is also a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, American Rock Art Research Association, and the Bay Area Rock Art Research Association.
